The 74LV139N,112 is a member of the family of high–speed low– power CMOS logic level–converter which is suitable for a wide range of applications. This device provides low power consumption and clamping diodes for board-level ESD protection. It is used in switching, multiplexing, and decoding in logic applications.

The 74LV139N,112 consists of two 2-to-4 line decoders/demultiplexers with complementary outputs. The device features a selectably–enabled output and selection of active–low or active–high output enable. The functions of the two decoders are controlled by a pair of inputs (G1, G2) and by the output enable pin (G3). The G1 and G2 inputs are used to select one of four paths from the A0 and A1 input pins to the Y0, Y1, Y2, and Y3 output pins. The output enable pin functions as an enable/disable control for all of the outputs. With the output enable pin high, all outputs will be at the logic level determined by the selection of the inputs. If the output enable pin is low, all outputs will be at logic “0” regardless of the selection of the inputs.

In addition, this device has a low power consumption, making it ideal for portable or other low power applications. It is also designed to provide a high level of immunity to switching noise, making it suitable for communications and control applications. It features a wide operating voltage range of 2.0 V to 6.0 V.
