Clock/Timing - Clock Buffers, Drivers, AYILF 83918 is a single chip programmable IC clock multiplier consisting of a phase-locked loop (PLL) for the purpose of controlling the frequency of a clock signal. It provides a wide variety of programmability, flexible clock phases and output options, enabling designers to get the best performance out of their system.

AYILF 83918 is capable of providing low jitter outputs ranging from 125MHz to 500MHz. It multiplies an incoming clock signal by a programmed multiplication factor and generates a new frequency output. The available multiplication factors are x2, x3, x4, x5, x6 and x8. Additionally, the clock frequency can be doubled or divided depending on the complexity of the application.

AYILF 83918 is designed for applications such as managing system clock speeds, generating multiple clock frequencies for memory, I/O, and video applications. It can also be used for fan-out from a single clock source, reducing number of clock drivers required in a system.
