Aluminum electrolytic capacitors are electronic components that are widely used in commercial and industrial applications. They are made up of an aluminum foil or sheet with an electrolyte coating on one side, along with a pair of electrodes. The two metal plates are separated by a thin film of electrolyte, and the electrolyte serves as an insulator between the plates.
