Working Principle

The 924CE2 Series Limit Switch is an economical snap action switch with long life and low-cost design. It works by a metal contact arm which moves in when the button is pressed and creates a momentary electrical connection. After the switch is operated, the contact arm moves out of the switch and the connection is broken.

The 924CE2 Series Limit Switch is designed to be operated by either a mechanical or electrical actuator. When operated by a mechanical actuator the arm is moved upward or downward by the physical movement of a push button, lever, or other control arm. When operated by an electrical actuator, the arm is moved directionally by an electrical current.
