93LC46C-E/SN is a member of the 93LCXX-E/SN family, an electrically erasable programmable read-only memory (EEPROM) device with a minimum of 1,000 erase/write cycles. It has been widely used in many applications, such as automotive, industrial, and medical applications due to its low power consumption, fast erase/write timings, high precision, low noise, and specialized operating modes.

The 93LC46C-E/SN is a four-pin serial EEPROM device designed to provide reliable nonvolatile memory storage and higher levels of security. It is available in the 8-pin dual in-line package and the 8-pin SOIC. The device is organized in an 8-bit form and is capable of 0.6ms erase/write cycle time.

The 93LC46C-E/SN device is an auto-addressing device that has the capability to automatically increment up to sixty four addresses after each write command, making it easier and quicker to write data to multiple device locations. All the commands required to program and read the device are contained in a single byte and must be transmitted in order.

No additional power is required for 93LC46C-E/SN operation. When the supply voltage falls below 2.2V, the device will go into a power-down mode. The device will also automatically enter power-down mode if no operations are performed for a certain period of time.

The 93LC46C-E/SN device has a 256-word EEPROM array and is an ideal memory solution for applications requiring high-speed data read/write access with parity checking.
