The A1322LUA-T is a linear magnetic field sensing IC that enables accurate position and motion monitoring applications. The device has a wide dynamic range and can detect changes in the magnetic field from -7.1 to +7.1 Gauss. The A1322LUA-T is ideal for use in linear Hall effect digital compasses, automotive sensing applications, consumer medical and remote human navigation systems, and safety and security systems.
The A1322LUA-T is a Hall effect magnetic sensor which uses a technology based on semiconductor material, to detect magnetic fields. The sensor contains an integrated Hall effect element that is designed to detect linear changes in magnetic flux density, both in North (X) and South (Y) directions, as well as a reference voltage output. This allows it to detect changes in field strength in both the X and Y component of the magnetic field.
The A1322LUA-T has a slim profile and a very low power consumption, which makes it ideal for use in portable or power-sensitive applications. The linear output signal of the device is processed by an internal signal processor and converted to a digital output. When an external reference voltage is applied, the internal signal processor adjusts the output signal according to the input voltage to allow further enhanced accuracy of the field measurements.
