A1326LUA-T is a Hall effect non-contact linear magnetic position sensor IC, which is applicable in countless industries.
It detects the absolute position of a ferrous metal or magnetic targeting disc from a single point and eliminates the manual tuning involved in mechanical lever, contact and surface acoustic wave sensors. This product series is cost-effective and has low power consumption.
Applications
The A1326LUA-T is generally used for applications such as linear displacement, position feedback, commutation, valve and throttle control, motor feedback, touchless sensing, digital calibrating, and consumer electronics. It has features that are ideal for industrial, automotive and consumer applications.

Working Principle
The A1326LUA-T works on the principle of Hall effect. The Hall effect is a phenomenon observed when a conductor passes through a magnetic field. When an electric current is passed through a conductor, a force is generated at right angles to the direction of the current and the magnetic field. This force is called the Hall effect. The Hall effect will cause the voltage output of the device to change if the field is changed.
The A1326LUA-T uses a linear Hall element as its sensing element. The linear Hall elements detect a wide range of magnetic fields. They generate a voltage signal in response to the magnetic field which is proportional to the strength and direction of the magnetic field. The output voltage can then be used to measure the position or speed of an object that is exposed to the magnetic field.
The device also includes sophisticated signal processing circuitry to increase the linearity and sensitivity of the Hall element. This means that the output voltage is more accurate and dependable even in extreme conditions.
The A1326LUA-T also includes on-chip temperature compensation circuitry to ensure that the output voltage remains consistent across a wide range of temperatures. This allows the device to be used in automotive applications without sacrificing accuracy.
