A3422EKA-T is a type of Magnetic Sensor – Switch (Solid State) which uses a Hall effect switch technology for sensing the direction and magnitude of magnetic field. This sensor is recommended for applications where the position of a permanent magnet is to be detected, like in industrial motors, doors, and automotive light switches.

The A3422EKA-T consists of a Hall Effect Integrated Circuit (HEIC), an NPN Bipolar Transistor, and a low-profile yet durable plastic package.
