The A3964SB is a non-blocking motor controller dedicated to permanent magnet brush motors in automotive and other industrial applications with three phase power stages up to 40A and supply voltage up to 40V. The A3964SB is designed to be used in electronic throttle control, power steering, air-conditioners, transmission control, HVAC and other motor control systems.

The A3964SB can monitor and control the current through the motor, allowing precise control and high efficiency. It includes a number of features to maintain high performance and reliability, including a full bridge selectable pull-up, short-circuit protection, and sleep or wake-up from under-voltage lockout. The A3964SB supports several interface options, depending on the application, including 3- to 5-wire SPI, I2C, I2S and analog interface.
