It also contains an on-chip voltage regulator, two pre-drivers for motor commutation, and a low-on-resistance N-channel MOSFET which enables the device to achieve ultra-high efficiency switching in three-phase applications.The A3973SLBTR is ideal for a variety of applications including robotics, audio speakers, pumps, fans, and other consumer and industrial motors. It features an adjustable speed control, a slew rate control, an external PWM option, and an overvoltage, undervoltage and overcurrent protection system. It also includes an on-chip dual FET driver with integrated logic level shift, enabling the device to work with logic-level input signals.The device works by employing a multi-phase control system to regulate the peak voltage of the motor windings.
