A3977SLP Application Field and Working Principle

Working Principle

The logic control, direction, error signal and power connections all come together in a convenient sixteen-pin DIP package.

The A3977SLP includes a programmable current limit that can be set using the external resistor connected to the CURR_MON and GND pins. The CURR_MON and GND pins are used to measure the system current to ensure that the programmed current limit is not exceeded.
