Introduction

A6262KLYTR-T is a PMIC – LED Drivers that is tailored for dimming application for general lighting and LCD backlight, covering a broad range of applications for all linear, constant current output applications. Working Principle

A6262KLYTR-T works on Constant Current Regulation (CCR) principle. It ensures that the LED current is always within a specified range regardless of the applied voltage. The A6262KLYTR-T contains a high voltage voltage regulator with an open-loop control circuit which detects the output current of an LED in series with the output resistor. The regulator uses an internal comparator to compare the sensed output current with a reference voltage. If the sensed output current is below the reference voltage, the regulator will increase the output voltage; conversely, if the sensed output current is higher than the reference voltage, the regulator will decrease the output voltage.

The A6262KLYTR-T also has temperature sensing block, which is used to measure temperature around the LEDs and account any temperature shift that could affect the performance of the device. It includes a thermistor, a transistor, and a high voltage comparator.
