AAT7347IAS-T1 is an array of four n-channel integrated power Field Effect Transistors (FETs) with ultra low on-state resistance (<0.27Ω). The device is primarily used as an electronic switch which can be used to switch between low duty cycle audio/video signals (DTV, LCD and plasma display applications) or in more extreme cases, high current/high voltage switching applications such as PFC, medical and home appliances. The AAT7347IAS-T1 FET array can also be used in direct drive applications, as a single FET architecture 4-bit digital I/W logic array, or as an analog or motor control switch.
The AAT7347IAS-T1 FET array consists of four FETs with an integrated NMOS FET technology. These FETs have an n-channel, insulated gate, which have an extremely low on-state resistance. As the FETs have a shallow n-channel, they have a high transition frequency which makes them suitable for high-frequency and high power applications. The FETs also feature a junctionless bottom gate structure, which helps reduce the leakage current even in the “on” state.
The application field of the AAT7347IAS-T1 lies in electro-optical convergence (EOC) components, switching power supplies, EMI protection circuits, general switching applications and high current/high voltage switching such as PFC, medical, home appliances etc. The high switch frequency makes it suitable for high noise immunity and low crosstalk applications such as DTV, LCD and plasma display. In addition, the AAT7347IAS-T1 can also be used as a single FET architecture 4-bit digital I/W logic array and as an analog or motor control switch.
The working principle of the AAT7347IAS-T1 is simple and efficient. The FETs are turned on or off by applying a gate voltage. When the gate voltage is in the right range, electrons are pulled or repelled from the surface of the FET which creates a conductive channel. Depending on the current applied to the gate voltage, the resistance of the channel changes and the current flowing through it is controlled.
