- The AD006-02E Hall-effect Magnetic Sensor is an industry-standard magnetometer. It is commonly used for motion sensing, position sensing, and magnetic field measurements. - The AD006-02E is widely used in phones, tablets, and other consumer electronic devices to detect the orientation of objects, as well as to measure relative positional changes. It is often used in robotics, automotive, and appliance applications for motion and/or position sensing. It can also be used to detect and measure changes in external magnetic fields, making it suitable for geomagnetic or magnetoptic measurement applications.

- Working Principle
- The working principle of the AD006-02E is based on the Hall effect, the phenomenon whereby an electric current running through a conductor is deflected by a magnetic field. A hall effect sensor consists of a sensing material, usually a semiconductor material, which is placed in a magnetic field. When the current passes through the hall effect sensor, it is deflected by the magnetic field and generates a voltage on the sensor\'s output terminals. The greater the magnetic field, the greater the voltage.
- The AD006-02E is a Hall effect sensor which uses fluxgate measurement principle to sense magnetic fields. The fluxgate circuit consists of two coils, one primary and one secondary. The primary coil is powered by an external AC source and creates an alternating magnetic field in the gap between the two coils. The secondary coil, which is connected to a Hall effect sensor, senses the alternating magnetic field and converts it into a voltage output. The output is then amplified and processed by the sensor\'s control electronics, which converts the output voltage into a linear analog or digital output.
- The AD006-02E has a linear range of operation and is adjustable to a maximum of 1.2 V. This makes the sensor suitable for various applications where a small, linear and repeatable output is required.
