Working Principle

The AD5445YRU-REEL7 works by converting digital input data into an analog output voltage according to a linear conversion equation. This internal code is then converted into an analog voltage using a combination of switched capacitor filters and delta-sigma converter technologies. The analog output voltage is then converted into a 10-bit representation of the 12-bit data input.

The device operates on a single +3 V to +3 6V supply and typically consumes less than 1.3 mA of current at 3V. The device has an operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C and the output voltage is typically 0V to +3 V with a 10-bit accuracy of ±1 LSB. The output settling time is typically 5 msec when using 11 bit data, and 15 msec when using 12 bit data.
