The AD5676RBRUZ-REEL7 is a high-performance 16-bit digital-to-analog converter (DAC) from Analog Devices. The Data Acquisition is performed by a single ADC, which samples the input signal at a rate much higher than the resolution of the DAC allowing for relative high accuracy. Simultaneously, the ADC digitalizes the analog signal it receives from its input, converts it into a digital representation of 1s and 0s and sends it at a high rate of speed to the DAC. The DAC, in turn, converts the 1s and 0s into a corresponding analog signal, recreating the original input signal but at a higher resolution. By repeated use of the single ADC and multiple DACs, the conversion time and accuracy are increased while minimizing system power consumption.
