Working Principle
The AD6643-200EBZ board uses a proprietary architecture to deliver low power performance with excellent dynamic range. It has an 18-bit resolution, 96 dB dynamic range, and a sampling rate of 125MSPS. The board features an integrated oscillator that is user-selectable to either 12MHz or 19.2MHz and provides a reliable clock signal for the ADC.
AD6643-200EBZ board uses a unique asynchronous delta-sigma architecture. The board features a Delta-Sigma modulator, which utilizes a 4th order noise shaping instead of a 2nd order noise shaping in conventional converters. This 4th order noise shaping provides high dynamic range at low resolution which helps to reduce the effect of additive noise and still maintain good SNR performance.
The board also features a multi-gain-level converter that helps provide the user with adjustable gain based on the dynamic range and noise requirements of the application. With its excellent analog performance and ultra-low power consumption, the AD6643-200EBZ board is a perfect solution for developing and testing RF systems.
