One of them is the AD6652BBCZ which is an RF integrated circuit with various applications in both consumer electronics and military applications. This IC is an integrated 20-bit dual-channel A/D converter with reference amplifier.
The main application field for the AD6652BBCZ is in aerospace and defense applications where a very high accuracy is required in A/D conversion. The working principle of the AD6652BBCZ is based on the integration of two identical 25-bit SAR (Successive Approximation Register) A/D converters. The output of each channel is a 20-bit two\'s complement word.
The AD6652BBCZ has a maximum sampling rate of 52 MS (mega samples) per second with a corresponding conversion time of 19.2 μs (micro seconds). Each channel has an independent reference amplifier and a very low noise, high-gain, and fast settling time of 0.25 μs. The AD6652BBCZ also has an on-chip digital calibration routine which allows for background trimming of the analog and digital portions of the circuit in order to achieve the best performance.
