AD8231WACPZ-RL is part of a family of linear amplifiers, instrumentation, operational amplifiers, and buffer amplifiers.The AD8231WA is a low-power differential amplifier that offers pin-compatible upgrade performance for instrumentation and operational instrumentation amplifiers. The device provides a wider input common-mode range, and is more sensitive to common-mode input voltage variation than traditional instrumentation amplifiers (IA’s). Designed for minimum power consumption, the AD8231WACPZ-RLcan operate with an input voltage range as low as 2.3V while meeting the tight power supply rejection ratio (PSRR) and common-mode rejection ratio (CMRR) specs of an IA. These features make the AD8231WA particularly well suited for low-voltage applications, such as battery powered portable devices.The device can also operate at a supply voltage up to 10.5V, allowing it to accommodate a wide range of applications. The AD8231WA has excellent PSRR, offset voltage and offset drift parameters, making it ideal for use in a wide range of signals and applications. It also features a low-jitter output stage that is particularly well suited for high-accuracy data acquisition systems. The AD8231WA has a common-mode input range which extends below the negative power-supply rail and delivers an offset voltage of 0.1mV maximum over temperature and a PSRR of 95dB at 1 kHz. The device provides an offset drift of 0.1 μV/°C, and a programmable gain ranging from 10 mV/V to 1000mV/V.The device also offers a low power consumption, with a supply current of 1.0mA at 10.5V, and a quiescent power consumption of 13mW in a 3V system.The AD8231WACPZ-RL is available in an 8-lead, SOIC and offers excellent performance, low power consumption, and excellent parametric ratings.
