The AD8304-EVALZ board is an evaluation tool designed to provide accurate and reliable analysis of up to four single-channel multiplexed signals in the context of op amp circuit design. It is based on the AD8304-optimized amplifier designed to measure both small-signal gain and large-signal DC current. The board helps to quickly and accurately evaluate the performance of a wide variety of amplifier designs and applications, with measurements that are repeatable and highly correlated. It supports a range of operational amplifier applications including precision rectifiers, forward voltage converters, and oscillators.The AD8304-EVALZ board is a high performance evaluation tool featuring both precision ground-referenced transimpedance and common-mode voltage measurements. It utilizes the AD8304-optimized amplifier which provides improved performance via improved loop stability, improved common-mode rejection, and better immunity to power supply effects. The AD8304-EVALZ board also includes a differential input as well as a differential output, which allows differential signals to be measured.The board is capable of accurately evaluating circuits with a dynamic range of up to 2000 V/A and nominal bandwidths up to 300 kHz. A selection of optional external power supplies is available, allowing the board to be used with a variety of operational amps and amplifiers, such as instrumentation amplifiers, single-ended to differential converters, and power amplifiers. For measurements with lower bandwidths, the AD8304-Evalz board can be used with either the external power supplies or a single-supply measurement adapter board.The AD8304-EVALZ board can be used to evaluate a variety of applications including audio and electro-acoustical testing, RF amplifiers, and automotive diagnostics. For example, the board can be used to analyze input signals from microphones and medical instruments, monitor preamplifier signals, and measure power transients in automotive power systems. It is also useful for evaluating audio amplifiers, including hip hop and surround sound systems.To make use of the AD8304-EVALZ board, users first select the desired operational amplifier, then set their desired gain. Finally, users can measure the results directly through the board’s test points. The board has two outputs, one for the transimpedance measurement and one for the common-mode voltage measurement. The measurements are performed in a differential measurement setup, meaning the output will be a differential signal, which can then be further analyzed through an oscilloscope or other measuring instrument.Overall, the AD8304-EVALZ board is an ideal tool for evaluating and verifying up to four single-channel multiplexed signals in the context of op amp circuit design.
