The AD8344-EVAL evaluation board facilitates the evaluation of the high linearity, low power consumption, and low noise figure of the AD8344 4th order, low-noise, PDM digital step attenuator (DSA). The multi-channel high resolution step attenuators provide an easy to use solution for multiple applications thanks to their high linearity, low power consumption, and low noise figure performance. The board brings out all of the DSA’s features, including gain control, noise figure indicator, step selection pins, and SPI port configuration.

It is designed to be very easy to set up and use. No external parts are required, and there is no need for solder joints or complex adjustments. The board is largely self-contained, and it needs no extra connections for analysis or to power signals. The AD8344-EVAL evaluation board is designed to evaluate the high linearity, low power consumption, and low noise figure performance of the AD8344 4th order, low-noise, PDM digital step attenuator (DSA).

The AD8344-EVAL board operates in the range of from 8 – 420 GHz, and can provide up to 60 dB of total attenuation with minimum loss in gain accuracy.
