The AD8512AR-REEL is a low-noise, high-input impedance instrumentation amplifier that is ideal for a wide range of applications. It is widely used for measurement and monitoring of low-level signals in test and measurement systems and medical equipment. This amplifier is a general-purpose instrumentation amplifier with a wide range of voltage and current gain options and a low-noise input stage. The amplifier has two very useful features that make it well suited for many applications. These features include a high input impedance (>1GΩ), which makes it suitable for low-level signal detection, and a low distortion feature, which makes it highly suitable for measuring small signals.The AD8512AR-REEL is based on a differential input topology, which consists of an inverting input, a non-inverting input and their associated output. The output is amplified by the feedback resistance of the differential amplifier. When a voltage is applied to the inverting input, the input current is reversed and the output voltage is amplified. The amplifier is then compensated for any non-linearity so that the output is an amplified version of the applied input voltage. The differential topology also provides high impedance to the inputs of the amplifier, thus preventing any adverse effects from high-impedance sources which would otherwise affect the performance of the amplifier.The AD8512AR-REEL can also be used as a voltage follower. This means that it can be used to drive capacitive or resistive loads, allowing it to be used in a variety of applications.
