The AD8554AR-REEL is an integrated high performance, low power instrumentation amplifier (IAs) designed for a wide range of signal conditioning applications. It is part of the high performance Analog Devices, Inc.’s family of linear amplifiers. The AD8554AR-REEL is a dual-channel, wideband, low-noise IAs providing a very clean, high-resolution analog signal conditioning solution.
The AD8554AR-REEL is a single-supply instrumentation amplifier (IA) designed to offer high precision, low noise and low-distortion performance. It consists of two voltage amplifiers with a common, low-noise current source as the output stage. It is capable of amplifying signals from dc to 1 MHz and provides a wide dynamic range of gain from 1 to 20 V/V with a noise level down to 34 uV rms. The AD8554AR-REEL can provide a single-supply low-power solution for low-frequency signal conditioning applications such as flow meters, strain gauge measurements, pH levels and other applications requiring high-resolution and high-accuracy data acquisition.
The AD8554AR-REEL is a low-power, wideband, low-noise instrumentation amplifier ideal for a wide variety of signal conditioning applications. It has a gain bandwidth product of 1.25 MHz and can be configured as either inverting or non-inverting and at a gain of 1V/V, 10V/V, 15V/V and 20V/V. It can also be used to create +/- 5V peak-to-peak signal ranges with a gain of 1V/V. The device offers a low power consumption of just 4.9 mW/ch and low noise of 34 uV rms.
The AD8554AR-REEL features an input offset voltage of 0.1 mV and an excellent power-supply rejection of 90 dB. It has an input common-mode voltage range of 0 to 6V and a common-mode rejection ratio (CMRR) of 85 dB. The device also features a high output swing of 3.2V peak-to-peak and an open-loop output voltage of 250 mVp-p.
The working principle of the AD8554AR-REEL is based on an instrumentation amplifier configuration to restore the linear input signal.
