The AD8668ARUZ is a low noise, rail-to-rail, precision, unity gain stable operational amplifier. This latch-protected op amp features high-input impedance, low-input offset voltage and low-input bias current. This is a low-voltage, CMOS-input instrumentation amplifier that provides a high-output voltage swing and low power consumption. The AD8668ARUZ has an output current capability of 1A and can be operated on supply voltages up to 3.2V.

Working Principle

The AD8668ARUZ uses the same basic operational amplifier topology as most amplifiers. This operational amplifier topology includes an input stage comprised of differential pair transistors, a gain stage consisting of one or more differential pairs, and an output buffer stage that provides buffering of the amplifier’s output signal.

The input stage sets the device’s overall open-loop gain, common-mode range and input offset voltage, while the gain stage sets the amplifier’s overall voltage gain. The output buffer stage protects the device from short-circuit and provides isolation from the load. The AD8668ARUZ provides very low input bias, offset and noise current, with high common-mode rejection ratio.
