AD9910/PCBZ evaluation and demonstration boards and kits offer an array of tools and solutions that allow engineers and technicians to analyze and develop new applications for radio frequency (RF) and digital signal processing (DSP) solutions. This platform provides users with the ability to evaluate the performance of the AD9910 and associated components, such as amplifiers, filters, switches, oscillators, and AD converters. The system is capable of controlling the functions of the AD9910 to meet specific application requirements, and can provide detailed plots and graphical displays to represent the performance of the system.

The AD9910/PCBZ is based on the AD9910 Digital PLL (Phase-Locked Loop) controller, which is a single-chip, digital frequency synthesizer designed for applications in the frequency range of 0.5MHz to 500MHz. The IC supports a variety of modulation and data formats to meet specific device applications, such as tunable radio receivers, signal measurement systems, spread spectrum communications, and test equipment.

The AD9910/PCBZ includes two compatible packages. The main package is a four-layer board equipped with gold-plated test points, and a shielded enclosure containing the components for testing and evaluation. The optional package is an AD9910/PCBZTTM board, which provides additional flexibility and expandability, such as an adjustable input filter, automatic range control and a USB port for monitoring and controlling the AD9910 from a PC.
