Working Principle

The ADA4610-2ACPZ-RL consists primarily of three op-amps-two as active differential amplifier and one as a differential-input summing amplifier. It can handle up to a 500 kHz bandwidth, with a gain range from 1 to 10,000 and an input range from 0.665 mV to 6.1 V on single or dual supplies of 3 V to 5.5 V.The working of the ADA4610-2ACPZ-RL can be understood in two parts. The first part involves the two active differential amplifier op-amps, A1 and A2, as they provide low input bias current, low offset voltage and low distortion. The two op-amps amplify the V1 and V2 signals, with a gain of (1 + Rf/Rg), while applying a common-mode feedback loop using the CMFB terminal.The second part of the ADA4610-2ACPZ-RL involves the summing op-amp A3 that further amplifies the differential output of A1-A2 and adds the common-mode signal back to the output. To reduce the errors due to input signal mismatch, an external gain-adjustable composite current-feedback loop is also used. This loop adjusts the gain of the output to (1 + Rf/Rg/Cs/Cf).
