The ADA4858-3ACPZ-R7 (hereinafter referred to as the "ADA4858") is a linear amplifier from Analog Devices. The ADA4858 is commonly used in instrumentation and is a low-voltage supply amplifier, featuring rail-to-rail input and output signal capabilities. It is a single-supply, high-performance amplifier which is suitable for a variety of applications in the instrumentation and data acquisition field. The ADA4858’s output pin provides a buffered output to drive additional stages such as external loads, or provide feedback to close the loop and provide closed-loop feedback control.

The ADA4858 is designed to work with various conditions and offers a number of features to improve performance and reliability of applications. It features an internal bandgap that ensures a stable voltage reference, low-noise common-mode voltage to ensure low noise operation in sensitive instrumentation, and current limiting and Thermal Shutdown Protection (TSP) that protects the device during overload conditions. Additionally, the ADA4858 offers a high slew rate, low distortion and high linearity to provide low-noise and high-accuracy for the application of interest.

As noted above, the ADA4858 is commonly used in instrumentation and data acquisition systems. It can be used as a driver for control systems, output buffer, or as a high-accuracy and low-power amplifier for precision instrumentation. Additionally, it can be used as a Voltage-to-Current (V-I) converter, buffer for sensor output, voltage amplifier for gain control and for motor control. The ADA4858 is also used in medical devices, communication systems, scientific instruments and computer periphrials like oscilloscopes, multimeters and logic analysers.
