The ADE7923ARWZ is a high performance, low cost Mixed Signal Front End (MFE) device designed to measure and process power line signals in the single-phase, two-wire and three-wire systems. It combines an analog front end (AFE) with a 12-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) and digital signal processing (DSP) components to measure and process power line signals with very high accuracy and resolution. The ADE7923ARWZ also integrates additional features such as DSP-based active line cycle synchronization, external synchronization signals input, low power standby operation mode, communication interfaces and multiple embedded protection features.
The ADE7923ARWZ is most suitable for in-home energy and power management applications, electric vehicle charging stations and other industrial applications requiring reliable and accurate power monitoring and control. The device has a wide operating voltage range (between 10 and 265VAC) and can be used with single-phase, two-wire and three-wire systems.
Working Principle
The ADE7923ARWZ uses a principle of Digital-to-Analog Conversion (DAC) to measure and process power line signals.
