ADG3233BRM is a new type of logic-translators and level shifters developed by Analog Devices, Inc. This device is designed for use in high-speed systems and provides a versatile platform for signal level conversion and protection. The ADG3233BRM offers two integrated gate delay elements and two selectable Q-Channel options. The ADG3233BRM supports two selectable edge timing configurations, rising edge-delayed and falling-edge delayed (RDD and FDD modes). In RDD mode, the rising edge of the input signal is delayed while the falling edge is passed through without any delay. In FDD mode, the falling edge of the input signal is delayed while the rising edge is passed through without any delay. This flexibility in level shifting allows the designer to reduce system power consumption and accurately match signal timing of the source and destination systems.
The ADG3233BRM also provides ESD protection for up to ±2 kV for up to two differential channels. This feature greatly increases the immunity of the device from ESD strikes and reduces system downtime from ESD events. In addition, the device offers an adjustable slew rate to reduce overshoot and ringing of the converted signals.
