Analog multiplexers and demultiplexers are a class of electronic integrated circuits (ICs) that utilize analog switches and multiplexers to select or switch between a number of inputs to certain outputs, based on operation control signals. The ADG821BRMZ is an example of an analog multiplexer/demultiplexer. It is a dual single-pole/dual-throw (SPDT) switch IC that can be used for audio and video applications.
