ADR423ARMZ is a low-input voltage, low-drop-out, fully-featured, positive voltage reference intended for use in voltage references and regulators, rheostats, programmable references, conditioners and stabilizers, and other battery-powered applications.In single-cell power supply applications, the ADR423ARMZ supplies up to 2.5 mA of output current while maintaining a precise output voltage. The dropout voltage of the device is nominally 160 mV at 1 mA of output current. The device is supplied in a SOT23-6 package, allowing it to be used in a variety of applications.The ADR423ARMZ consists of three main components: an input capacitor, an output capacitor, and a voltage reference circuit. The input capacitor is used to reduce the input voltage ripple before it reaches the voltage reference circuit. The output capacitor acts as a filter, providing a smooth output voltage signal.The voltage reference circuit consists of an adjustable bandgap reference and an amplifier. The bandgap reference sets the output voltage, and the amplifier buffers the signal from the reference and provides the desired output current.
