It is the use of analog-to-digital (A/D) converters, leveraged with circuitry, to acquire information from real time sources such as temperature, pressure, sound, and movement. Analog signals are transformed into digital signals that can be processed by a computer. In order to acquire data, an A/D converter is used. ADS7960SRHBT is an A/D converter specifically.
