The ADT7461AARMZ-R is an integrated circuit (IC) that serves as a temperature sensor with both analog and digital outputs. The IC consists of a temperature sense element and a signal conditioning block, allowing it to measure temperatures between -55 and +150 degrees Celsius with good accuracy, making it suitable for a range of applications and industries.The temperature sense element of the ADT7461AARMZ-R consists of a transimpedance amplifier, a signal comparison reference, and a temperature to analog current converter. The transimpedance amplifier receives a voltage signal from the environment, which is amplified, filtered, and conditioned into a differential output. This output is then compared to a reference voltage, with the offseted voltage controlling the output of the temperature to analog current converter. The resulting output is a proportional current signal with a range from 0mA to 1MA, proportional to the temperature sensed by the device.
