Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) are an innovative type of programmable logic component that allows the user to implement a wide array of functions and features based on their requirements. The AGL030V2-QNG68 is an extremely flexible embedded FPGA solution that supports an impressive range of features and configurations. With its powerful 360 KLE (Kilo Logic Elements) capacity, this device enables many process intensive user functions such as image and signal processing, control loops, communication protocols and other applications. It features an abundant amount of I/O including two pairs of 200-pin connector for user-defined peripherals, four GbE ports, four SMA FMC connectors, one virtual SATA port and 32 MByte QDR IX RAM.
This device is ideal for numerous embedded applications such as industrial automation and embedded systems due to its low-power consumption and heat-dissipation characteristics. Its low power requirements allow it to be used in more energy-averse settings without generating excessive heat. The AGL030V2-QNG68 is also highly expandable, allowing the user to extend its capabilities by using combination of static FPGAs, high-speed ADC/DACs and other digital peripherals.
Another great feature of this FPGA is its combination of high-speed differential signaling and low-speed parallel signalling. These dual-operating protocols enable fast data transfers and efficient performance for high-definition decoding and encoding, communication and data processing SRIO (Serial RapidIO) protocols, image and signal processing, mathematical analysis and other tasks. Furthermore, the multi-voltage power supply of the device makes it highly compatible with legacy applications.
The AGL030V2-QNG68 supports advanced embedded features like DDR3/DDR4 memory controller support, 1 GByte of DDR3 SDRAM and clock crossing modules for a variety of systems. Additionally, the device possesses powerful FPGA-level debugging and debugging capabilities, making it even more reliable for embedded applications. To make it even better, the device offers Ethernet support, JTAG/UART interfaces, I2C/SPI lite bus controllersand GbX transceivers.
