The AMCV-1812H-750-T is a transient voltage suppressor (TVS) and is one of a family of TVS known as Metal Oxide Varistors (MOVs). MOVs are voltage-dependent, non-linear, resistive devices used to protect electronic components from damage due to over-voltage events.
