ANUP5034 application field and working principle

The ANUP5034 is a high-efficiency, low voltage current sensor module developed by American ARTHUR company. It\'s current sensing algorithm is optimized for motor control applications. The signal output is a square signal that is stable and can directly be connected to a controller or processor to provide an accurate measurement signal.

The ANUP5034 can be used in multiple motor control applications such as car, airplane, robotics, electronic navigation, unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), electric bike, small electrical vehicles, home appliance, and industrial Motors. It\'s a largely applied sensor in the AC/DC motor control system which can increase the system efficiency and its accuracy. It also can be applied in motor system diagnostics, motor failure diagnosis, power system, and motor open detection.

It works based on Hall-effect principle. In its internal, it possesses a Hall element. When the magnetic field generated by the current passes through the Hall element, the Hall element\'s generated Hall voltage is proportional to the magnetic field strength. The sensing range of ANUP5034 is from 0A to 50A and the current sensing resolution is better than 1mA. An integrated current limiting circuit is applied in the ANUP5034. It can protect the internal device from over current during the process of current sensing.
