The AOZ8001DI, a new type of Transient Voltage Suppression (TVS) Diode device, has been rapidly gaining recognition in various application fields for its extraordinary performance. From a working principle perspective, the AOZ8001DI is an N-Channel enhancement mode MOS-controlled thyristor. As such, it utilizes an active power switch as the circuit component responsible for managing the current flow. This device acts as a voltage-controlled resistor which connects the circuit’s output to the input and determines the amount of current flowed between them. As the voltage applied to the input of the device increases, the device turns on and begins to conduct current. This device’s lifetime increase with the amount of voltage applied to its main terminal.
