AOZ8807DI-05 is an ultra low capacitance TVS diode micro-assembly designed to protect high-speed data lines up to 8 A. It is used in signal communication, data transmission, and power supplies, such as in Ethernet, DVI, and USB 3.0, as well as other interface applications.

The AOZ8807DI-05 has a built-in high-speed electronic circuit that senses ESD events and surge voltage. When the normal system voltage rises above its breakdown voltage, a high-speed clamping action is triggered to reduce the voltage level to the VBR level and suppress the over-voltage transient.

Unique to the AOZ8807DI-05 is its extremely low capacitance levels. It has a typical packaged capacitance of only 0.5pF, making it ideal for utilization in high-speed communication applications and other areas where low capacitance is a critical requirement. The device also features excellent clamping capability at 10A, making it well-suited for a wide range of applications.

In terms of the AOZ8807DI-05’s working principles, the device incorporates a unique drift region between its anode and cathode terminals and uses the Junction Avalanche effect to achieve its low capacitance. When a high electrical impulse or ESD event occurs, the drift region avalanche, clamping the voltage to VBR and allowing the surge current to pass through. This action ensures that the device is able to effectively suppress the voltage surge and protect the system.

AOZ8807DI-05 is ideal for applications requiring high-speed and ultra-low capacitance. It features excellent clamping capability and is designed with unique AVS technology, ensuring fast response time and efficient suppression of ESD and surge.
