AP1119Y33L-13 is a low quiescent current, adjustable output, dual-channel step-down DC/DC converter. The device integrated a high-accuracy voltage reference, up to 900mA output current capability, a wide range of operating temperature, and requires no external components to operate. 3. Block Diagram

The AP1119Y33L-13 contains one input stage, a control section, two channels of output stages, a current-limit sensing circuit, a temperature-sensing circuit, and a voltage reference. The figure below shows a simplified block diagram of the device.

4. Working Principle

The AP1119Y33L-13 is a low quiescent current step-down DC/DC converter. The device starts operation by setting the EN pin at high logic level. When EN pin is pulled high, the VIN is applied to the EN/IN pin while VIN below VBOOT, then the charge pump built in the device will starts to work. After the voltage of the EN\IN pin is raised up to VBOOT, the regulator begins its normal operation。The booster current from BOOST pin will be regulated by the internal voltage divider to VFB.The control circuit in AP1119Y33L-13 compares the VFB with the internal reference voltage, then the current source output two PWM signals, through two power stage to generate 1.2V@500mA and 5.5V@100mA.
