Working Principle
The AP1122EL-13 IC is a Linear Regulator (LDO) with a power transistor that provides power output. Its regulating principle is based on the difference between input and output voltages, and uses a feedback control system to control the power transistor to maintain the output voltage (Vo). In order to ensure high accuracy of the output voltage, an internal error amplifier is provided, whose gain is calculated by the feedback resistance ratio. This input is a voltage signal which is calculated by comparing the output voltage with the voltage reference, and the output signal is used to control the power transistor to adjust the output voltage. The input voltage is filtered by an internal LPF, then is amplified by an error amplifier and is compared with the internal voltage reference.
