It is designed to optimize efficiency and cost, providing a high-performance LED driver solution for applications requiring low input voltage, low output voltage and current, a Driver Boost topology, and good thermal characteristics.Features of AP1694AS-13The AP1694AS-13 offers many features that make it an excellent choice for LED lighting applications. It includes a wide input range from 6 to 16 V, a PWM dimming input range from 0 to 100%, a Highly-Accurate Internal OVP, and an integrated 500mA source/sink driver. The AP1694AS-13 also offers an adjustable output current up to 700mA with precision current-setting, 0.5V accuracy for peak current setting, and the option to use external signal for current setting.The AP1694AS-13 is also designed to provide a low EMI solution, with features such as an adjustable slew-rate of overshoot control and soft-start, an under-voltage lockout (UVLO) feature to protect the LED driver, and a thermal shutdown feature to protect against abnormal temperature conditions. The AP1694AS-13 is designed to maintain a constant output current to the connected load, regardless of input voltage, output voltage and load conditions.The AP1694AS-13 also includes a current regulation loop and advanced thermal compensation, allowing it to maintain a constant output current independent of temperature variations, ensuring that the LED will remain illuminated at a constant brightness.
