AP2171DWG-7 is a Power Distribution Switches, Load Drivers designed by Diodes Incorporated. It is an ideal solution for industrial motor phase current control applications.

AP2171DWG-7 features integration of up to 7 bi-directional switches, each with a surge current rating up to 6A. The switches are configurable as either active high or low, and the voltage range is adjustable from 6 to 18V operating at suitable temperatures. The device also can perform as a logic-controlled multiplexer of up to 4 channels with channel selection logic selection.

The device has two independent voltage rails which can provide up to 3A of peak current while supporting both load and pilot. The external fuses, the wide frequency range of up to 8MHz,the external circuit protection and the under-voltage lock-out makes this device ideal for motor control applications.

AP2171DWG-7 works with a synchronous rectified PWM output current control, allowing an accurate and efficient regulation of the motor. The internal voltage regulator along with the power limiter ensures that maximimum power is supplied with minimum peak current. The PWM control enables the device to control current ripple, improving EMI performance.

The device is provided with pre-applied thermal pad for optimized heat dissipation. This allows it to operate at superior efficiency up to a maximum temperature of +150°C.
