AS1329C-TT-EK-ST is a cost-effective and high-performance off-line SMPS data evaluation board that can be used to evaluate the performance of AS1329C, providing the designer with a simple and fast method to observe and record the performance of the switch mode power supply. The board is designed for a wide range of input voltages, from universal input (85 to 265 VAC) to single voltage input (110/220 VAC). The working principle of the AS1329C-TT-EK-ST is basically the same as the other conventional off-line SMPS. The power part of the board is composed of a PFC stage, a full bridge stage, and an active PFC (APFC) stage. The PFC stage first rectifies and filter the AC power input to get a stable DC input, which the rectified AC input signal is applied to the electric switch of the full bridge stage to form a fixed multiplied voltage Vout. In the APFC (Active PFC) stage, the output voltage can be continuously monitored by adjusting the input voltage and the control circuit. The control circuit parameter can be adjusted to match the load conditions and obtain good power factor and efficiency.

The board also features a low cost and low ripple output, and is able to provide a stable power supply which can output voltage up to 38V and output current up to 10A. With the integrated high-performance components, the board provides a high efficiency up to 93%, and fast transient responsiveness.
