Data Acquisition – Analog to Digital Converters (ADC) has become an important area of technology as we approach the Digital Age with many signal processing applications that require digitizing of analog data for further analysis and storage. The device of choice for these applications is the AS1538-BTSU which is an integrated ADC, Digital Signal Processor (DSP), and Digital Signal Processing Software (DSPSW).

The primary application field of the AS1538-BTSU is for analog signal readout and preprocessing for further analysis. The device can be used to measure both AC and DC signals from a variety of sources such as microphones, motion sensors, strain gauges, and environmental sensors; as well as for signal conditioning tasks such as signal filtering and amplifying relayed signals from remote locations. The device supports both 8-bit and 10-bit resolution, with sample rates up to 10 ksps. This makes it suitable for a wide range of applications in both commercial and industrial settings.
The working principle of the AS1538-BTSU is based on the use of a low distortion, low noise, high speed analog-to-digital converter.
