AS1704V-T Application Field and Working Principle

AS1704V-T Working Principle

The AS1704V-T incorporates a high-impedance, low-noise input stage, with a high-frequency, large-amplitude (CMOS) output stage. The device has two inputs, an inverting and non-inverting, which control the direction of the output current. The input is then buffered and amplified by the gain stage and passed to the main output stage. The output stage produces a high-current linear output, which drives the load impedance.

The AS1704V-T uses a source-follower circuit consisting of two MOSFETs connected in series. When the input voltage is applied to one end of the source-followers, the opposite end of the source-followers, is pulled to follow the same voltage level by the feedback network of the device.

The output current is provided by the output stage, and the voltage gain of the device is determined by the source-follower circuit. The voltage gain of the device is controlled by the input impedance and the feedback network, while the output impedance is controlled by the output stage.
