Inrush Current Limiters (ICL) facilitate the prompt and consistent flow of current into a circuit during power-up. The AS35 3R030 is a prime example of such a device, and when teamed with an appropriate component, it creates a powerful solution for applications that require an elastically decreasing current influx during a circuit’s initial state of operation.
Operationally, an ICL is essentially a switch that opens and closes rapidly while monitoring the supply voltage and amperage.
