PMIC - LED Drivers: ASL2416SHN/LY
The ASL2416SHN/LY series are a family of 6-channel, ultra-precise, ultra-high-efficiency, linear switching regulators designed for easy replacement of linear power supplies for powering small and medium-sized RGB LEDs. They support a wide input voltage range of 4.5 V - 24 V and output currents up to 250mA in Constant Current mode. This allows customers to design multiple LED modules that are easy to supply and control.
The ASL2416SHN/LY series can be used to drive the three primary colors of LEDs, each color having two channels. All channels on the series are internally connected in Parallel, giving higher total current capacity and better reliability compared to a regular IR LED driver. LED brightness control is also implemented in the regulator, which allows for each channel to be adjusted independently of each other.
The typical applications for the ASL2416SHN/LY series include backlighting for LCDs and keypads, touch button indicators,and accent lighting for consumer and industrial products.
