It also provides self-timed byte or page write cycles, program verify, data pre-program, block-write protect, and erase/write protect.

The AT28C010-15TU-T contains an internal high voltage generator which is activated by a 3-level write command—write/erase enable (WE%), erase verify mode (EV%). A single 10-bit address allows up to 1024 locations to be programmed at a time. Four (4) typical command sequences can be used to erase and write the device. These commands are write enable, erase/write command, program verify and erase verify.

The low voltage operation of the AT28C010-15TU-T provides a significant advantage in applications where conventional 5-6V EEPROMs are limited in terms of available space. The AT28C010-15TU-T occupies a much smaller area than equivalent 5V parts and its low active power consumption minimizes power requirements.
