AT28C010E-12TU is a CMOS static random access memory which is capable of storing 128K bytes of data and designed for use in applications requiring current consumption in the 5-25 mA range and a 5V single power supply.
The device operates from a supply voltage range of 4.5V to 5.5V. All output pins and the input/output pins are TTL top-level compatible. The device has an accessible memory array of 128K bytes which are accessed through a single address port (A0-A16). Only three address lines (A8-A12) are required to access the device.
AT28C010E-12TU is designed for use in a variety of applications including static random access memories, non-volatile memories and embedded memories.
The AT28C010E-12TU is composed of three blocks: the memory array, the address multiplexer, and the input/output buffers. The memory array consists of 8,388,608 bits and is accessed via a single address port. Each address port contains sixteen address lines, A0-A15. The address port is connected to the address multiplexer, which is composed of a row selection block and a column selection block. The row selection block contains the A8-A15 address lines and the column selection block contains the A0-A7 address lines. The multiplexer then selects the appropriate row and column address locations within the memory array. The memory can also be accessed in page mod where the page size is 128 bytes. The input/output buffers are used to transfer data between the memory array and the external system.
The AT28C010E-12TU also has a number of features designed to enhance system performance. The device can be programmed and read without the need for additional control signals. Programmable control functions include address and data obfuscation, write protect, and device power down.
