AT28C17E-15PC is a kind of CMOS nonvolatile memory that combines EEPROM andRIOT (RAM/I/O port) in one chip. AT28C17E-15PC working principle is that when the data is read from the EEPROM, the Address/Data register and latch enable pin LE can be used to select the contents of the Address and Data registers, and then the data is output from the chip outputs Q0-Q7. When writing data to the EEPROM, the LE and WR can be used to select the contents of the Address Data register and then write the data of Q0-Q7 data input to the wanted address that stored in the Address/Data register. Finally, the data is written to EEPROM after the completion of the internal time-delayed operation.
